K850i CyberShot Reviews

Actual customer reviews of the K850i camera phone

I've recently joined Orange and received this phone with my contract, my previous phone was the clunky N95.

My work phone is a SE, so I was quite looking forward to seeing what the K850i was like. Firstly, it's larger than I thought it would be, quite chunky, and in fact feels larger than my old N95.

The screen is nice and bright and the limited touch-screen element is a nice bonus and after a while it feels very intuitive..

The buttons are a little on the small side, particularly the four navigation keys, in fact they're more like blades than keys. Now, I'm no Mr Sausage Fingers by any stretch of the imagination, but even I find it difficult to use these keys on occasions. I have found a good compromise, however, and tend to use my nail for navigating.

The camera is great, much better than Nokia's 5MP, but the video quality is still pretty shocking, but then I guess it would be on a phone.

The music player is excellent, though the headphones supplied are pretty poor, so I suggest you go out and buy yourself some more when you can.

It was supplied with a 512MB M2, which is a lot more generous than Nokia's supplied cards, but I did go and buy myself a larger card so I could store more photos and mp3s.

Overall, an impressive phone and I would certainly recommend it. Well, as long as you've got large pockets anyway.
